This program allows youth grades 10-12 to experience hands on, interactive sessions to prepare them for adulthood.

Engaging partners in the Drumheller area to foster and strengthen the 40 developmental assets in local youth, including a Youth Advisory Committee.

Ready to get started on your Award? The Duke of Edinburgh Award is a challenge that requires commitment over time. However, the sense of accomplishment you’ll feel at the end of the journey will be worth it! It also looks great on post-secondary applications, scholarships, Resumes and job applications.

NEW this program is for youth aged 14 and up the opportunity to meet new friends, learn new skills and make a difference in the community by volunteering with our camps.

In the run up to Easter, Kilo of Kindness will mobilize the schools in our Valley to donate specific non-perishable food items for the local food bank. These items will help individuals and families in need over the Easter Season.  

This scholarship is being updated and will not be available for 2020 - 2021 academic year. Please check back in the Fall of 2021.

This program honours youth in our community who demonstrate volunteer leadership in community and sports. There are four awards available every year, two for students in grades 7-9 and two for students in grades 10-12. The winners are presented with a cheque at the Celebration of Excellence Awards Night.

This is your chance to help plan youth activities and events within the Valley and surrounding areas. Learn how committees work while building community relationships. Want to use your social media skills to bring people together? This is the place for you!

Are you looking for some adventure this summer? We welcome youth throughout the Drumheller Valley and Starland County to join us for Teen Adventure Days 2022!

This summer, participants will be guided through kayaking on the Red Deer River, biking and hiking by Red Deer River Adventures.
