'Canuking' it up Contest

DrumhellerOnline and the Town of Drumheller is looking for Drumheller's greatest Canuks! There are three contest categories that everyone can participate in!

Drumheller's Best Dressed Canadian Kid

This category is aimed at the Children of Drumheller! Wear your most patriotic outfit, wave your flag, show off your face paint ... or maybe suit up in a traditional Canadian tuxedo? 

What can you win? A brand-new bicycle donated by Canadian Tire! 

Out for a Rip

Deck your car out in Canada Day swag, and you could win prizes! Plus, take it 'fer a rip' in the Drive-by Parade. 

The Mighty Lodge

Does your house have the ultimate Canadian spirit on display? Celebrate your decor for a chance to win!

Drive-by Parade

Celebrate in style in our Canada Day Drive-by Parade! 

Congregate at 11 Street and Riverside Drive to take the convoy to both Hillsview Manors, Sunshine Lodge and the hospital.  Decorations optional, enthusiastic honking required. 

The parade departs at 1:30pm, don't be late!

Canada Day Gift Bags

The Town of Drumheller is pleased to partner with Telus as part of the Telus Day of Giving for the Canada Day Gift Bags.

We just want to say thanks!

Thank you to residents, businesses & volunteers throughout the Valley for all of their hard work and dedication these past 16 months. The Town of Drumheller has 500 gift bags to give to households, so families can celebrate safely in their own backyard. Gift bags are available for pickup at Town Hall 

  • June 29, 10:00am - 3:00pm
  • June 30, 3:00pm - 7:00pm

These bags are first come, first served. Only one bag per household available. 

Businesses across the Valley have generously donated coupons, small gifts and swag to make this Canada Day extra special!

At 11:00pm, Canada Day fireworks can be viewed from Rotary Park! A special thanks to Bill Wulff, our local pyrotechnic, and his team for volunteering their time and skills to our Canada Day celebration.

Should restrictions not be lifted in time for Canada Day, fireworks will be a drive-in event.
