No one has more expertise in the reality of social needs in our community than our residents and service providers.

Our Promise

The FCSS Regulation states that we must promote public participation in planning, delivering and governing the FCSS program and the services it provides.

To uphold this, we will:

  1. Publish what you told us in the survey and workshops on the website in early 2023.
  2. Include a summary of the social needs, solutions and indicators that you shared in a 'What We Heard Report' in early 2023.
  3. Use the information you share during the survey and workshops to set goals addressing the priorities in the next five years.
  4. Share links to where you can access relevant meeting minutes and watch the Council presentation (where this will be shared) in early 2023.
  5. Let you know how you can be involved in this process in the future.

Public participation is being invited through surveys, community workshops and sessions with local social sector agencies. The information shared during these opportunities will be used to develop goals addressing these priorities over the next five years.
