Town of Drumheller Policies
Council Policies are Council written statements that set standards of performance for the Town as a whole, and guidelines for the manner in which Town initiatives and activities will be carried out. They are outward-facing and relate to interactions between the Town (and entities representing or working on behalf of the Town) with the public and with entities outside the Town. Council Policies are approved by Town Council and maintained by Legislative Services.
The policies available are meant to be publicly accessible for the residents of the Town of Drumheller. These policies serve the purpose of providing information about the initiatives and activities undertaken by the Town. They cover both Administration and Council Policies, which have been approved by the Town Council and Town Manager. The intention is to ensure transparency and openness in the governance of the Town and to keep the residents informed about the guidelines and rules that govern various aspects of the community.
