Summer Camp

Camp BCF - Summer 2022

Camp BCF is a summer camp that is run by the Town of Drumheller's recreation staff at the Badlands Community Facility (BCF). Throughout the summer, kids aged 6 to 12 years of age can enjoy weekly themed camps stacked full of recreation and fun! We are also offering two basketball clinics and one evening at an upcoming planetarium! 

Camp BCF runs Mondays through Fridays, 8:30am to 4:30pm. Early drop-off and late pick-up (8:00am - 5:00pm) is available at an additional cost. Camp is not available on statutory holidays.

Yay! School is out! Come join us for your first week of fun at Camp BCF! Even though Captain Fun has retired, we have new and exciting things ready to be explored this summer.

Camp Carnival

Hook, Line & Sinker

Fish, fish and more fish! We know that our slippery little friends aren’t for everyone, but this week, campers will have the opportunity to visit a trout hatchery and feed thousands of fish all at once!

Ball of Fame

Atomic Astronomers

Calling all space enthusiasts! This week, at Camp BCF, campers can learn all about the universe. From stars to planets, galaxies to comets, and everything in between, we can’t wait to see you. P.S. You will also be able to experience a show in a REAL planetarium!

Basketball Skills Clinic  

Do you want to brush up on your basketball skills during the off season? If so, we have the opportunity for you! We will be offering two Basketball Skills Clinics for ages 10-14 and ages 15-17.

Our Basketball Skills Clinic will be offered for a half-day of instruction from an experienced basketball coach – providing a great opportunity to get into the gym and practice important skills and drills.

The Basketball Skills Clinic is limited in space, so we recommend registering as soon as possible to ensure your spot.

Under the Stars  

Are you interested in a journey through the universe from the comfort of the Drumheller Valley? We are excited to let you know that we have the opportunity of a lifetime!

Once again, the planetarium will be making its way to Drumheller, and we are excited to invite not only our Camp BCF friends, but also anyone in the Valley interested in a day Under the Stars!

This experience is limited in space, so we recommend registering as soon as possible to ensure you get a chance to lay under the stars!
