Recreation Update for Province-wide COVID-19 Restrictions

Following the provincial restriction updates announced on May 5, 2021, the following enhanced public health measures apply provincewide. Public health measures are required to protect the health system and reduce the rising spread of COVID-19.

Badlands Community Facility

  • As of May 9, 2021, the BCF will be closed until further notice, as per the Government of Alberta provincewide restrictions.
  • Indoor fitness facilities must close.
  • Indoor sport, performance and recreation activities are not permitted.
  • Team sports are not permitted.
  • No sports games, competitions, team practices or league play of any kind is allowed.
  • Wedding receptions, funeral receptions and trade shows are not permitted.

Performance activities include dancing, singing, acting, playing a musical instrument and any rehearsal or theatrical performance.

Drumheller Aquaplex

  • As of May 9, 2021, the Drumheller Aquaplex will be closed until further notice, as per the Government of Alberta provincewide restrictions.
  • Indoor fitness facilities must close.
  • Indoor sport, performance and recreation activities are not permitted.
  • Team sports are not permitted.
  • No sports games, competitions, team practice or league play of any kind is allowed.

Memorial Arena

  • As of May 9, 2021, the Memorial Arena will be closed until further notice, as per the Government of Alberta provincewide restrictions.
  • Indoor fitness facilities must close.
  • Indoor sport, performance and recreation activities are not permitted.
  • Team sports are not permitted.
  • No sports games, competitions, team practice or league play of any kind is allowed.
