NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING PROPOSED BYLAW 16.22 TO AMEND LAND USE BYLAW 16.20
PURPOSE: To consider a bylaw to make amendments to the Land Use Bylaw 16.20. In accordance with Municipal Government Act M-26, Section 191(1) an amendment or repeal must be made in the same way as the original bylaw.
Land Use Bylaw 16.20 took effect on March 1, 2021, and since then one round of amendments have been approved by Council in September 2021. While working with the document since March 1st 2021, Administration has identified a number of inconsistencies within the document which can be misinterpreted. This proposed bylaw will provide further clarity and define guidelines for the Land Use Bylaw.

On Thursday November 17th, 2022 at the Badlands Community Facility from 6:00pm – 8:00pm there is a Community Engagement Session. Development Authority will be in attendance to answer questions about the Land Use Bylaw.
Any person affected by this Proposed Bylaw or otherwise wishing to address Town of Drumheller Council about this Bylaw can make arrangements to participate in the Public Hearing by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org or calling 403-823-1339. The meeting will begin at 5:30 pm on Monday December 5th, 2022 at Town Hall 224 Centre Street in Council Chambers and/or using a virtual platform. The Public Hearing is to provide the public at large an opportunity to be heard in accordance with the Municipal Government Act.
