The 2025 property tax notices for the Town of Drumheller residents were mailed out in May 2025.  If you have not received your 2025 tax notice, please contact the Town’s office at 403-823-6300 or email propertytaxes@drumheller.ca. 

Property taxes are due on August 31, 2025.  For online banking, process times can take up to four business days. Please allow sufficient time when choosing to pay through online banking.  Any payments received after August 31, 2025, will be subject to a 5% penalty. 

If you recently purchased a property and did not receive a property tax notice, please call 403-823-6300 or email propertytaxes@drumheller.ca to inquire about the current status of the property taxes. 

To avoid penalties, the Town of Drumheller encourages residents to enroll in the preauthorized payment plan. To qualify for enrollment, any months that have elapsed must be paid prior to enrollment.  For example, if your property taxes are $1,200.00 for the year your monthly payment would be $100.00 ($1200.00/12= $100.00).  If the enrollment is to begin in August, a payment of $700.00 is required to cover the months of January to July. Enrollment must be completed no later than the 20^th of each month.
