Councillor Kristyne De Mott
This is Kristyne’s first term on Council here in Drumheller. Her tenacity and fearless ‘can-do attitude’ has served her well; allowing her to embark head first into originally uncharted waters of politics, policies, formats and regulations.
Kristyne De Mott was born and raised in Drumheller and currently is working toward a career in law as a Paralegal through the Legal Assisting program at BVC. Kristyne has been immersed in fitness since 2012 and spends her spare time bodybuilding at the BCF. She lives on coffee, admires strong organization and enjoys loud music, being (overly) busy, and spending time with her family.
Vision: Kristyne is very passionate about attracting and retaining other Millennials (like herself) to and within the community of Drumheller. As the Chair for the local millennial group: GenNow, she has been working hard to be a voice for the youth; and bringing the different perspective & values of the generational cohort within the Drumheller Council Chambers.
Committees: Drumheller Public Library Board; Drumheller Taxi Commission; Palliser Regional Municipal Services board; Subdivision Development Appeal Board
