Councillor Tony Lacher

Phone: 403-823-1339

Tony is currently enjoying his second term on Council. He is very proud to be a part of the many accomplishments achieved during his first term and looks fondly back at the numerous projects completed. He looks forward to advancing our community even further while building a progressive and vibrant community that continues to attract families and businesses to this beautiful Town.

Tony moved to Drumheller in 1996 for a work opportunity with ATB Financial. He grew to love the Town and raised his three children in the valley. After 35 years of service with ATB, he retired in 2014 and, with his wife Linda, chose to continue residing in Drumheller.

“It truly feels like home,” he states, and they both remain active in the community. Tony continues to be a long-standing member of both the Lions Club and the Knights of Columbus and participates in many volunteer-based events. His involvement in Town-based activities and events is primarily focused on the development of the community. He has served on many committees and boards within Drumheller and believes that strong leadership turns a vision into a reality.
