The Town of Drumheller wishes to advise residents and visitors of the following: 

• The parking lot at the Starmine Suspension Bridge will be closed from September 15, 2025, to November 21, 2025. 
• Access to the bridge will be unavailable during this period. 
• Construction crews will be mobilizing in the area to build a flood berm, which includes a removable flood gate along the bridge pathway. 
• Improvements will be made to the day-use area that include: 
  • Upgraded pathways to meet accessibility standards 
  • Concrete Plaza to highlight the entrance of the Suspension Bridge 
  • Formal designated picnic areas  
  • Enhanced planting areas
