A Summer Full of Learning, Adventure, and Friendship for Kids Ages 6–12, the Town of Drumheller is thrilled to bring back CampBCF, a high-energy, hands-on summer camp. Located at the Badlands Community Facility, CampBCF offers more than just a way to keep kids busy, it's a meaningful opportunity to foster social connection, physical activity, and creative learning throughout the summer months.
Led by a passionate team of fun-loving leaders, CampBCF delivers unique weekly themes packed with adventure, discovery, and challenges that help children develop friendships, grow their confidence, and stay active. Whether they are racing into action in Start Your Engines, uncovering secrets in I Don’t Have a Clue, or rocking out with dinosaurs in Rock-A-Saurus, every week brings new opportunities for growth and fun.
CampBCF is where fun and learning come together in the best way,” says Kaylyn Jensen, Acting Manager of Recreation, Arts and Culture for the Town of Drumheller. “Every game, every adventure, and every friendship helps kids grow stronger, more confident, and more connected. We’re not just filling summer days—we’re creating experiences that support healthy development and bring real joy to every camper.”
Each full-week camp includes an Adventure Day to an exciting, themed field trip to destinations like Cloudland, Rival Gelly Ball, Discovery Wildlife Park, and more. These immersive outings are included for weekly campers, but also available as standalone experiences for families seeking flexible, one-day options.
CampBCF runs Monday to Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., with new early drop-off starting at 7:45 a.m. and late pick-up until 5:00 p.m., offering convenience for busy families. Additionally, families can apply for DrumLife for Children’s Credits, a financial subsidy to help make camp accessible to everyone.
