Municipal Election Worker Application Form

Municipal Election Worker Application Form

The Town of Drumheller is now recruiting enthusiastic and reliable individuals to join our elections team for the 2025 Municipal Election.  Election Workers play a key role in ensuring the election runs smoothly, fairly, and efficiently. Whether you're experienced or new to elections, this is a great opportunity to contribute to democracy in your community.

We are seeking reliable, detail-oriented individuals to assist with advance voting days and Election Day. Previous election experience is an asset but not required; mandatory training will be provided and must be attended.

Please note that this is a paid position, not a volunteer opportunity; Election Workers are compensated with a flat rate based on their assigned role, responsibilities, and the hours of work. Election Workers will be compensated at between $264.00 and $324.00 for working on Election Day (October 20, 2025), depending on if they are working as a Deputy Returning Officer (DRO) or as a Presiding Deputy Returning Officer (PDRO).

If you're interested in contributing to your community and supporting the democratic process, we encourage you to apply no later than 4:30 p.m. on September 1, 2025.
