Drumheller Valley FCSS, in partnership with Turning Point, is offering two public information sessions on Drug Trends and overdose prevention.

There is a drug toxicity crisis in Canada. We are providing these information sessions to create awareness in the community and prepare people to offer potentially life-saving support to someone experiencing opioid poisoning. 

Main topics to be discussed in the workshop are:

- Latest information on drug trends, 
- Myth bust and reduce stigma, 
- Provide information and training to prepare people to offer potentially life-saving support to someone experiencing opioid poisoning.

 

When & Where: 

May 2, 2023 
3.30-4.30pm BCF Large Multi-purpose room (target mainly agencies, but open to the public)
6-7.30pm (light snacks provided) BCF Banquet Hall.
