Residents can now apply for Residential Parking Permits!

The Town of Drumheller will be launching a trial period for a paid parking program throughout designated parking areas in the Drumheller Valley. This trial period will begin October 2, 2023, and will operate until October 31, 2023. Residents can apply for a Residential Parking Permit, which will allow residents to park in lots and areas designated for paid parking.

Temporary Road Closure - Railway Ave; Centre St to 1 St E

The Town of Drumheller will be issuing temporary road closure from Railway Ave; Centre St to 1 St E to comply with street improvement work that includes the milling of asphalt and placement of new asphalt.

This portion of the project is expected to start on August 27, 2021 and take approximately two weeks to complete. The initial milling of the asphalt is planned to take place on August 27, 2021, with paving to follow during the week of September 7-10, 2021.

The contractor, Brooks Asphalt and Aggregate, has engaged with residents and businesses in the surrounding area that could be directly impacted due to the construction. Traffic accommodations have been put in place and a detour is currently being created by the contractor. Emergency services have also been notified of this temporary closure.
