The Town of Drumheller joins in mourning the passing of Her Majesty, Queen Elizabeth II. She was the longest-reigning monarch in British history and Canada's head of state, having passed at age 96 on September 8, 2022. 

In accordance with the Federal and Provincial Flag Protocol, as well as the Town of Drumheller Flag Protocol Policy, flags throughout the Drumheller Valley will be lowered to half-mast today, September 8, 2022, and will remain at half-mast until sunset the day of the funeral or memorial service.
