Update: October 24, 2022

The watermain replacement project continued to progress North. The laneway created to access the 200 Block of 3 Street West is restricted to passenger and Emergency Service vehicles only. 

As such, the attached updated detour map indicates how residents should access the 200 Block of 3 Street West. 

October 20, 2022:

Due to the recent construction in the area, the intersection of 2 Avenue West and 3 Street West has already been closed to accommodate the construction of a new gas line under the Red Deer River.

On Friday, October 21, 2022, the water main replacement project taking place on the south end of 3 Street West will require the intersection of 3 Street West and 3 Avenue West to close in order to allow the water main replacement project to continue.

Due to these two intersection closures, the Town is providing the following detour map indicating how residents should access the 200 block of 3 Street West.
