The Municipal Planning Commission (MPC) comprises seven members, two of which are members of Council.
The Commission reviews applications for Developments, Subdivisions, land use amendments and any other applications referred by the Development Officer. The Commission advises and assists Town Council with regard to the planning of orderly and economical development within the municipality and helps ensure that any proposed development is in accordance with the purpose, scope or intent of the Land Use Bylaw and Municipal Development Plan.

Fire Prevention Week - Fire Hall Open House
Location: Drumheller Fire Hall, 224 Centre Street, Drumheller, AB
The Town of Drumheller Fire Department wants to invite families, friends and anyone interested in all things fire safety to attend an Open House and BBQ at the Fire Hall on October 14, from 11:00am until 3:00pm.
Stop in and enjoy:

- BBQ
Please come by, check out the Fire Hall and equipment, indulge in a BBQ and learn about cooking safety this week for Fire Prevention Week!

Pets @ the Plaza
Location: Downtown Plaza, 340 1 Street West, Drumheller, AB
The Town of Drumheller and Drumheller and District Humane Society want to celebrate Howl’oween with you and your furry friends!
On October 28, from 1:00pm until 3:00pm, dress up and bring your furry friends down to the Downtown Plaza for the chance to participate in a fun scavenger hunt and to have their perfect Halloween paw-trait taken!
Photos will be taken by Through the Looking Glass. The price is a donation.
Travel Drumheller will also have a photo contest to follow, in which participants are encouraged to take a photo of their pet with one of the many dinosaurs we have around Town to be entered into a prize!
Please remember that this Activity will be held outside, so we ask that participants dress for the weather!
