COVID-19 Community Response Programs

Thanks to a Social Services Support for COVID-19 emergency grant from the Province of Alberta, we are happy to announce assistance for individuals towards a number of programs available in the community. If you are isolated at home due to the COVID-19 pandemic or are experiencing food insecurity and need help with meals, transportation to medical appointments or in-home support services such as light housekeeping and/or yard work, please answer the following questions to determine your eligibility for this subsidized program. All information is kept confidential. Funding is limited and the Program will operate as part of our COVID-19 response until funds are fully expended.

CRP Drumheller

Hot Meal Program 

We are happy to announce assistance for those aged 55+ towards the Hot Meal Program. Register now for affordable hot meals delivered to your door. 

Home Services (55+) 

Need a little extra help around the house with light housekeeping, laundry, or meal preparation? What about in the yard or shovelling snow? We can offer subsidized help. 


In need of a ride to medical appointments, prescription pick-up, or groceries? Do you need help to leave an abusive situation? We can help!

Tech Connect Program

This program aims to connect seniors (55+) and residents with low income with technology to ensure that they can connect with friends and family or study/work from home while in isolation.  
Get in touch if 

  • You have a used but working laptop/tablet to donate.  
  • You need tech so you can connect.

Revised Block Buddy Program

The newly revised program will get you in touch with your neighbours. We are looking for friendly faces to help make our communities welcoming and connected.  
Contact us to join the Block Buddy team or if you'd like to be connected with a Block Buddy in your area.  

Wellness Checks 

Need a friendly voice to talk to? Have a little extra time to share with others? This program offers isolated residents a regular phone call to check in and catch up.
